Her obituary reported “Alma S. Kovich, longtime resident of Fraser, died peacefully in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was 86 years of age.

Alma was born on January 28, 1919 in Moorehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Howard and Essie Mae (Manier) Sexton. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Joseph, on March 18, 1939 in Detroit. Their union was blessed with a beautiful son. The couple resided in Fraser in the 1970’s. Alma enjoyed her gardening, her flower garden, and walking. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Alma is survived by her loving son Joseph (Linda); cherished grandchildren, Stephen (Meggin) and Nicholas; dearest great granddaughter Lillian Rose; and beloved sister Fern Kilgore. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph on March 12, 1993.

Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, on Sunday from 6pm until 9pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am from the funeral home.
