1910 census of Bath Co., Ky, Wyoming magisterial district, Forge Hill voting precinct, enumerated 5 May, lists on p. 9B as family #123:
Goodpaster, James E., 29, manager of flour mill; Jennie, wife, 22, first marriage for both, married 5 years, mother of 3 children, 2 living; Omar B., son, 4; Irene, dau, 2. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1920 census of Bath Co., Ky, Forge Hill precinct, enumerated 15 Jan, lists on p. 5A as family #90:
Goodpaster, Jim, 39, farmer; Gennie, wife, 32; Banks, son, 14; Irene, dau, 12; Howard, son, 8; Neva, dau, 5. All born Ky Ky Ky.

There are two other Goodpaster families on the page (and five Purvis families.)

After James died, Jennie lived with her mother Annie Laurie Stone, who was also widowed. Neither of them remarried.

1930 census of Bath Co., Ky, Owingsville precinct, enumerated 11 April, lists on p. 6B as family #132:
Stone, Ann, 63, widowed, age at first marriage 20, no occupation; Goodpaster, Jennie, dau, 41, widowed, age at first marriage 16, no occupation; Neva, granddau, 16, single. All born Ky Ky Ky.

By 1940, both of Jennie’s daughters were widowed as well:

All born in Kentucky, living in same house in 1935.

It sure looks like these Stone/Goodpaster women didn’t have good luck with their men.
