The Kentucky birth index lists Don Nesbitt, born 23 June 1925 in Carter Co., mother’s maiden name Mary M. Barricks. It is a delayed certificate, filed on 24 Oct 1977 (Vol. 201, #93144).

He does not appear with the family in the 1930 census, and the birthdate would be a bit less than 8 months before that of James on 15 Feb 1926. I don’t know what to make of this.
