Notes for Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Ramey
His death certificate records Benjamin Frank Ramey, age 78 years 3 months 22 days, born 23 Apr 1850 in Rowan Co., Ky, married, husband of Eliza, father Jerry Ramey, mother’s maiden name Eunice Manley, both born in Rowan Co., cause of death cardiac dropsy, informant D. C. T. Jones, Salt Lick, Ky, burial in Alfrey Cemetery.

The reported age and birthdate is almost certain to be off by one year, since he was listed as 1 in 1850, 11 in 1860, 21 in 1870, and 31 in 1880.
Notes for Frances “Fannie” A. Perry
Her death certificate records Fanie Ramey, age about 60, birthdate unknown, born in Morgan Co., Ky, died 10 Nov 1918 in Farmers, Rowan Co., Ky, married, father Siras Peary, mother’s maiden name Dollie Blair, both born in Ky, cause of death tuberculosis of bowls, informant B. F. Ramey, Farmers, Ky, burial in Jones Cemetery.

The age of 60 would imply a birthdate of about 1858, but she was listed in the 1850 census as age 3 (with a younger brother age 1), and in the 1860 census as age 12.
Notes for Benjamin Franklin “Frank” & Frances “Fannie” A. (Family)
There is no marriage recorded for them in Rowan Co., so it most likely took place either in Bath Co., where they were living in 1910, or in Morgan Co., where Fannie’s parents were from.
Census
1910 census of Bath Co., Ky, district 4, enumerated 2 May, lists on p. 15B as family #326/343:
Ramey, Frank, 65, 2nd marriage, laborer at odd jobs; Fanny, wife, 62, first marriage, married 1 year, mother of 2 children, 2 living; Boone, son, 19. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The number of children for Fanny is probably incorrect, and most likely applies to the two children of Frank’s from his first marriage, to Eliza Ann Armstrong.
