His obituary in the Morehead News reported:

“MOREHEAD – William H. (Bill) Fouch, age 79, of Christy Creek Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehab in Owingsville, Kentucky.

    He was born December 14, 1930, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Burl and Mildred Merle Moore Fouch.

    Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Garnetta Smith Fouch, whom he married September 5, 1965; two sons, Billy Bruce Fouch and wife Kelly and Scott Fouch; two daughters, Lori Wells and Lisa McIntosh, all of Morehead, Kentucky; and eight grandchildren, Kyle, Kellen, Patrick, Lilee, Callie, Parker, Cody, and Carsyn.

    Also surviving is one brother, Tommy Fouch and wife Joan of Morehead, Kentucky; two nieces and one nephew, Denise Spencer, Brian Fouch, and Julie Mays; several great nieces and nephews; and his loving mother-in-law, Beulah Smith of Morehead, Kentucky.

    Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 –1954.  He retired in 1993 as foreman from Addington Coal Company in Ashland, Kentucky, after fifteen years of service. Following his retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Bill was a member of Elliottville Baptist Church.

    Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with full military rites conducted by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.

    Pallbearers will be Kellen Fouch, Patrick Fouch, Tim Harris, Scott Neal, Brian Fouch, Michael Neal, and Johnny Ray Kissinger.”
