Notes for Marsinah Suzella Abdill
Her obituary reported:

Marsinah Suzella Abdill, daughter of Leon and Mabel Gray Abdill, was born in Amarillo, Texas, February 13, 1928, and died in Woodward, Okla., January 14, 1943, being 14 years, 11 months and 1 day of age.

When but two years of age she came with her parents to Woodward, where she entered the public schools and at the time of her death was in the graduating class of the Junior high school. Her chief interest was in music and homemaking and she was an outstanding student in penmanship.

She was a member of the Baptist Sunday School and took an active part in the Vesper Choir and the Young People’s activities of the church. Marsinah was of a sunny, happy disposition, making friends among those she met and enjoying each day to the fullest.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Abdill, and a brother, Wylmer, of the home, another brother, Spencer Gray Clarke of San Diego, Calif., sister-in-law, Eloise Leigh Clarke, and two nephews, Richard Gray Clarke and Douglas Arthur Clarke, one niece, Carolyn Sue Clarke, her grandfather, J. D. Gray of Woodward, an aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson, and an uncle, George A. Abdill, both of San Diego, Calif., and an aunt, Mrs. Bessie Gray Smith, of Woodward.”
