“Shirley Ann Jones, 54, Marion, died at 4:55 p.m. Saturday in Marion General Hospital.
She was born in Bath County, Ky. to Espie and the late Irene (Purvis) Riddle. She married Robert E. Jones on December 12, 1972 and he survives.
Shirley was employed at American Woodmark in Gas City and she raised miniature pinchers. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to rummage sales and reading. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by children Michael (Cathy Bragg) Jones, Trisha Jones and Angela Jones, all of Marion; brothers Edward, Walter, Wilbur, Robert (Patty), Clyde (Brenda), James (Mary), and Frank (Cathy) Riddle, all of Marion; sisters Donna Gail (Larry) McKee, Swayzee, and Connie Sue (Steve) Burkhart, Marion; grandchildren Brittany (David) Williams, Zachery and Tyler Jones, Raymond, Ryan and Kyle Franks, Breanna Jones, William Martin and Bobby Bragg, all of Marion; and great-granddaughters Kaytlynn Williams and Abbeegayle Williams, both of Marion.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother Ewell Riddle, and sons Espie Jones and Edward Thomas Riddle.
Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion with Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park.”
