Notes for Edgar Wayne Riddle
The SSDI lists Edgar Riddle, born 25 Dec 1904, died Mar 1978, last residence Marion, Grant Co., Indiana, SSN issued in Kentucky before 1951.

His death certificate records Edgar Wayne Riddle, age 73 years 3 months 2 days, born 25 Dec 1904 in Kentucky, died 29 Mar 1978 in Marion, Grant Co., Indiana, married, husband of Sadie Mae Sorrell, father James Riddle, mother’s maiden name Florence Purvis.
Notes for Sadie Mae Sorrell
Sadie was apparently born to Rachel Snedegar and John Sorrell before they were married. In the 1910 census, she is recorded as Sadie M. Snedegar, age 3, granddaughter, with the family of William T. Snedegar and Mary J. Shrout, and Rachel is listed as single and the mother of one living child. She would be a granddaughter to William and Mary Snedegar even if her mother were their daughter Kate, but then there would be no reason not to list her as a Sorrell.

The SSDI lists Sadie Riddle, born 2 Aug 1906, died Mar 1982, last residence Marion, Grant Co., Indiana.

Her death certificate, as abstracted on Findagrave.com, records Sadie Mae Riddle, age 75 years 7 months 10 days, born 4 Aug 1906, died 15 Mar 1982, widowed, father John Sorrell, mother’s maiden name Rachel “Sanmdgree” (apparently a misreading of Snedegar).
