Ellington, Abe, 37, farmer; Martha, 21, wife; William, 2, son; George, 7/12, b. Nov, brother. All born Ky Ky Ky.
The next household is headed by Abe’s brother Reuben. The notation of “brother” for George Ellington age 7 months by have been originally intended to be for Reuben Ellington, who was then instead recorded as a head of household. He cannot be a full brother of Abraham, whose mother was 65 in 1880.
