Notes for William Pressley Rawlings
This William Rawlings is probably a grandson of my 9G grandfather, since he had a son named Aaron, and was from the same county in Maryland. But I do not know his parents.

William Presley Rawlings Will

In the name of God Amen I William Rollins of the County of Fleming and State of Kentucky being weak ___________ but blest with perfect mind and memory yet knowing that _______ appointed for all men once to die make and ordain this my last will and Testament. Item first I resign my body to death______________ to god who gave it Secondly I will that all my lawful debts be paid out of my personal estate Thirdly I give and bequeath to my sons Presley Rolling one _______ feather bed and beding to be Judged by my executors Fourthly I give and bequeath to my son William Rollings Daughter Barbary twenty five Dollars to be raised out of my personal estate Fifthly I give and bequeath to my wife Barbary fifty Dollars of my personal estate to be made up to her in such household goods as she may choose-----Sixthly I give and bequeath to my wife Barbary all my real estate during her natural life time and further I will and ordain that after my decease if my ____ cause to take either of my children to live on and occupy the plantation the said he or she shall give bond with approved Security for the comfortable Support of her the said Barbary to be executed to the executors of this my last will and testament------Seventhly I will that after the above donations ..the remainder of my personal estate be divided in the following manner one Sixth part to my son Thomas Rollings one Sixth part to my Daughter ELIZABETH DAY one sixth part to my son William Rollings one Sixth part to my son Aaron Rollings one Sixth part to my son Presley Rollings and one Sixth part to my Daughter MARY DAY—Eighthly I will that after the death of my wife Barbary the land be divided among my heirs in the same manner that this will directs the personal estate to be divided—Lastly I ordain my sons William & Presley Rollings the sole Executors of this my last will and testament declaring this and no other to be my last will & testament, Given under my hand seal this twenty Second day of February in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

Thomas Rawlings, William Rawlings, Presley Rawlings, Aaron Rawlings, William Day and Elizabeth his wife, late Elizabeth Rawlings, Charles Day and Mary his wife, late Mary Rawlings, heirs and legal representatives of William Rawlings deceased of Fleming Co. - land on Locust Creek, for $521, being the land William Rawlings acquired by deed from Lewis Craig 10 Feb. 1808. Located by Jacob Worthington northwest corner. Deleware Co., Ohio J.P.'s: John Carr, Mathew Marrin, John Culver, who also obtained release of dowry rights from Elizabeth (Rawlings) Day.
