The SSDI lists Cleve Goodman, born 29 July 1884, died Feb 1966, last residence Iowa, SSN issued in Iowa before 1951.

His gravestone, a triple one with Polly and their daughter Mildred, has his name as Cleve L. Goodman.

Louis and Polly 16 years residency in Iowa.

(This is an incredibly detailed census. Wouldn’t it be great for genealogy if the federal censuses had so much information?) Note that the reported length of Iowa residency (which implies arrival in about 1909) conflicts with that reported in the 1915 census (which implies arrival about 1904.) And both dates suggest that they were already living in Iowa at the time when it says they were married in Kentucky.

1930 census of Buena Vista Co., Iowa, Sioux Rapids, enumerated 7 April, lists on p. 8B as family #230/232:
Goodman, Cleve, 46, age at first marriage 26, b. Ky Ky Ky; Polly, wife, 35, age at first marriage 16, b. Ky Ky Ky; Mildred, dau, 15; Norman, son, 9; Nola B., dau, 1 6/12. All children born Iowa Ky Ky.
