Notes for William L. Williams
Several trees on Ancestry.com report him as being the following:
The Australia death index records William Leatcher Williams, died 27 Apr 1903, father George Williams, mother’s name Ann.
But I do not know on what basis they identify that William L. Williams with the one who married Narcissa Whitt. There is no indication of birth place or age in the index.
It appears more likely that he is the William Williams in the following census record:
1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, division 2, West Liberty P.O., enumerated 21 June, lists on p. 11 as family #69:
Caleb Williams, 50; Malinda, 52; Perlina, 18; Daniel A., 17; James, 13; William, 9.
The following two households are headed by Isaac Williams, 20, with wife 22, and Davis L. Williams, age 23, with wife Nancy age 27.

There are six Lykins families on the page, plus the family of John F. Whitt (age 53) with wife Elizabeth, and James Benton (age 28) with wife Elizabeth.
