Her obituary reported:

“Anna Eula COX, age 90, of Middletown, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at Meadowbrook Care Center in Montgomery, OH. She was born June 12, 1922 in Salt Lick, KY to James and Vonnie (Newkirk) Utterback.

She was a homemaker and a member of Yankee Road First Church of God. She worked at Aeronica during WWII as a riveter (Rosie the Riveter) fabricating aircraft wings for the war effort. She later worked with her husband, Ernest Ray Cox in the family movie theater business. She was active in church, volunteered at the area food shelter, and in the school cafeteria. A loving and very supportive wife, mother, neighbor, and dear friend to all. She was well known for her great hospitality, sense of humor and was a marvelous story teller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest R. Cox in 1998; siblings, Beulah, Chris, Stella and Gladys.

Anna is survived by son, James (Sherry) Cox of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Ashley Weaver, Patty Stepp, Robert Spencer; sister, Marjorie Lucas of Mt. Orab; brother, Billy (Patty) Utterback of Stanton, KY.

A Celebration of Life Service at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home with Brother Mack McConnell officiating. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
