Fannin, John, 26, farmer; Cyntha A., 26; Hardin F., 7; Laura M., 5; Harvey A., 3; Fernanda, 4/12 (fem). All born in Kentucky.
The daughter Fernanda should be a son.
1880 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Elk Fork precinct, enumerated 9 June, lists on pp. 13-14 as family #87/88:
Fannin, John Esq., 36, farmer, b. Ky Va Va; Cyntha A., 36, wife, b. Ky Ky Ky; Hardin F., 17, son; Laura M., 15, dau; Harvey A., 13, son; Fernando C., 10, son; Cynthia, 4, dau. All children born Ky Ky Ky.
The next four families are also Fannin familes, including at #89/90 his brother Henry, with whom their parents are living. The preceding household (#86/87) is headed by Ezekiel Conley with his (second) wife Amanda, and the household above that is Ezekiel’s son Henry J. Conley with his first wife Phebe Williams. After Phebe died Henry married John and Cynthia’s daughter Laura.
