Death ocured instintly. Informant Green Moore, Wrigley, Ky, burial in West Liberty, Ky.

(The reported age at death would imply a birthdate of 16 Dec 1991 rather than 6 Dec.)

Her gravestone has the years 1889-1957, but the 1900 census recorded her as age 13, born Oct 1886, and the 1910 census as age 23. (She seems to have started reporting her age as younger after marrying Lonnie Fraley, who was younger than her.)

Apparently when Joe died in 1915 his and Hester’s children were farmed out. Their daughters Emma and Grace are living with Joe’s sister Anna and her husband Eugene Duvall in Carter Co. Their son Lewis is living in Breckinridge Co. as a live-in farm laborer with the family of Theophilus Bennett, whose daughter Cordilla he would later marry. Willie may be the William Kendall age 16 living in Oldham Co. with Henry Shearer age 27 and his wife Mable (nee Burrows) age 22; I would want to investigate the mothers of Henry Shearer and Mable Burrows to see if one of them is a sister of Joe Kendall or Hester Moore before considering it solid. (Given their surnames, their fathers cannot be a brother of Joe or Hester.)
