“Laura Marie McNurlin Crose, 91, of Flatwoods, widow of Paul E. Crose, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011, in Trinity Station following an extended illness.
Marie was born October 19, 1919, in Ashland, to the late John Q. and Pearl Buckley McNurlin.
She was a homemaker and a member of Ashland Plaza Church of the Nazarene.
Marie was also preceded in death by seven brothers, the Rev. Jack McNurlin, John Q. McNurlin, James "Wid" McNurlin, George B. McNurlin, Walter "Cooter" McNurlin, Harry McNurlin Sr., and Roy C. McNurlin; and three sisters, Lennie Lutz, Bessie Roberts and Pearl McNurlin.
Survivors include two brothers, Paul Ed (Aileen) McNurlin of Osage Beach, Mo., and Donald Ray (Lois) McNurlin of Bradenton, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Ashland Plaza Church of the Nazarene, by the Rev. Rob Hale, the Rev. Kevin Campbell and the Rev. Paul David McNurlin. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.”
