Her obituary reported:

“Callie J. Jarvis, 71, of Mansfield, died Friday, June 9, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness.

Born November 12, 1934, in Morehead, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Willie and Addie (Royce) Nickell. An avid gardener, Callie will be remembered as a loving wife, and nurturing mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Billy J. Jarvis; three daughters, Deborah (Thomas) Parlett and husband, James of Mansfield, Ronda (Gulley) Patrick and husband, Richard of Harriman, Tenn., and Sheila Jarvis of Portland, Ore.; thirteen grandchildren, James Parlett, Chris Parlett, Kimberly (Parlett) Porter, Angela (Patrick) McAbee, Rich Patrick, Nanette Fowler, Ronald Patrick, Shawn Orewiler, Stephanie Orewiler, Charles Miller, Charity Miller, Michael Miller and Chris Miller; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; twin sister, Addie P. Stephens of Shiloh; brother, Harold Nickell of Mansfield; two brothers-in-law, Glenn Jarvis of Mansfield and Burt Jarvis of Texas; seven sisters-in-law, Maxine Nickell, Maxine Cash, Leoila Carrol and Jene Jarvis, all of Mansfield, Ruth Henderson of Arizona, Lavern Jarvis of Texas, and Jeanett Nickell of Manchester, Oh.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vicki Jarvis Orewiler; brothers, Acey, Carl and Robert Nickell; and sister, Olla Mae Nickell Alfrey.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Monday, June 12, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Brian Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kingwood Center.”
