His obituary reported:

“Cecil Glenn Quesenberry, 77, of Beckley, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Heartland of Beckley nursing home following a long illness.

Born May 31, 1925 in Quinwood, he was the son of the late O. B. and Mary Sweeney Quesenberry. Mr. Quesenberry was a retired salesman and had lived many years of his life in California. He had returned to the Beckley area to make his home since 1977.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Quesenberry; an infant brotherl and a sister, June Stover.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Quesenberry of Greeley, Colo., and Ronald Quesenberry of Lyndon, Ill., a daughter, Linda Salisbury of Lodi, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Barbara Lewis of McKinney, Texas, and Terri Painter of Placerville, Calif.; three brothers, Ray Quesenberry of Amarillo, Texas, Walter Quesenberry of Indianapolis and Elbert Quesenberry of Clinton, Ohio; a sister, Athalene Akers of Dover, Del.; and 11 grandchildren.

Burial will be Tuesday at Union Cemetery, Brentwood, Calif. Arrangements by Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley.”

Her obituary in the Lodi News-Sentinel of June 10, 2000 reported:

“Alice Joan Silveira, age 75, the daughter of Isaro and Josefina Silveira, died from complications of an aortic aneurysm on June 8 in San Diego.

She was born in Atwater, California on March 12, 1925. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1943 and was a WAVE during World War II.

She is survived by her brothers, Frank and Fred Silveira of Lodi, sisters, Josie Knittle of Lodi and Mary Winiecki of Red Bluff; children, Dennis Quesenberry of Greeley, CO; Ronald Quesenberry of Linden, IL, and Linda Salisbury of Lodi, Joshua, Brenden and Jennica Quesenberry of Greeley, CO, and Tatiana Quesenberry of Linden, IL; and great-grandchildren, A. J. Brook, and Beau Salisbury of Lodi, and Adam Smit of Poway, CA.

There will be a memorial service at Lodi Lake on Sunday, June 11, 2000 at 1 p.m. Bring photographs and stories to share.”
