Notes for Thomas & Jane “Jenny” (Family)
Menifee Co., Ky marriage register R4 records the marriage on 31 Aug 1870 of Thomas Ingram and Jane Wright, at Hiram Wright’s.
Census
1870 census of Bath Co., Ky, Mudlick precinct, Olympian Springs P.O., enumerated 10 Aug, lists on p. 17 as household #114/116:
Yarber, Harrison, 21, farmer; Jane, 26; Sam McKee, 3; Sarah, 1. Wright, Jenny, 36. Ingraim, Thomas, 55, farmer. All born in Kentucky.

Thomas and Jenny married three weeks after this census was taken. She apparently died shortly afterwards, because by 1880 Thomas was recorded as widowed, with no children evident:

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, White Sulphur precinct, enumerated 26 June, lists on p. 23 as family #199/203:
Cassity, Henry, 84, farmer; Nancy, 75, wife; Moore, Robert, 35, boarding, single; Ingrem, Thomas, 65, farm hand, widowed. All born Ky Ky Ky.

He is most likely also the following, recorded three weeks earlier (there were not two Thomas Ingrams born ca 1815 in the area in any earlier census year):

1880 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Cross Roads precinct (Farmers), enumerated 1 June, lists on p. 16 as household #130/145, living alone:
Ingram, Thomas, 65, laborer, widowed, b. Ky Ky Ky.

Farmers is just a couple miles from the Bath County line. Possibly Thomas had a house there but hired out at other farms for weeks at a time.
