The Kentucky birth index lists Eva G. Campbell, born 18 Oct 1921 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Imma Hall.

Her obituary in the Morehead News of Oct. 14, 2008 reported:

“Eva Geraldine Campbell Riddle Decker, age 86, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 10, 2008, at Pine Meadows Health Care in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born October 18, 1921, in Rowan County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Thomas and Emma Hall Campbell. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lottie Holland, Juanita Williams and Elizabeth Bailey; three brothers, Fred, Lester, and James Campbell; and her husband, Robert Decker.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Rice of Lexington, Kentucky; two sons, Linville Riddle of Morehead, Kentucky, and Roger Riddle of Goshen, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Brian Riddle, Randy Riddle, Brent Riddle, Michael Rice, Robin Schneider, Julie Wolf, and Leta Whitley; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are four sisters, Audra Booso of Milford, Ohio, Flora Vickers of Williamsburg, Ohio, Freda Caudill of Salisbury, North Carolina, and Mae Workman of Morehead, Kentucky, and two brothers, Bill Campbell and Allen Campbell, both of Mount Carmel, Ohio.

Geraldine was a loving mother and homemaker and former employee of Morehead State University and Cowden Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial was in the Riddle Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brian Riddle, Randy Riddle, Brent Riddle, Michael Rice, Phillip Wolf, and David Riddle.

Visitation was after 3 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.”
