Her obituary in the Roanoke Times of Sat., Jan. 28, 1995 reported:
“QUESENBERRY, Edna Phillips, 91, of Indian Valley, died Thursday, January 26, 1995, in Laurel Meadows Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Quesenberry; and son, Harless W. Quesenberry.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Lillian and Ernest Fawcett, Pleasanton, Calif., Rosa and John Stout, Hillsville, Winnie and Gene Vaughn, Willis; one son and two daughters-in-law, Cobern and Louise Quesenberry, Riner, Virgie Quesenberry, Floyd; one foster son, Lewis Cox, Indian Valley; three sisters, Ocie Hollandsworth, Willis, Delilah Phillips, Indian Valley, Nora Spence, Indian Valley; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Kenneth Hopkins officiating.
Burial will follow in Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home.”
