Notes for Maggie F. Lewis
I cannot find a death record for Maggie in either Kentucky or Ohio, so it is possible that she and Clarence divorced, but if so, it would be unusual for young children to remain with their father rather than their mother.

Be careful not to confuse her with Maggie F. Lewis born 21 Mar 1892 in Morgan Co., daughter of W. R. Lewis and S. C. Fugett, who marred Milford B. Whitt on 31 Jan 1911 and died 12 Sep 1921.
Notes for Clarence C. & Maggie F. (Family)
Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage on 12 Oct 1911 of Clarence Lewis and Maggie Lewis. (From an index only; I do not have the details.)

Clarence and Maggie were second cousins once removed.
Census
In 1920 Clarence and three children are recorded in Middletown, Ohio with his sister Anna and her husband. Clarence is recorded as married, but there is no wife in the household.

1920 census of Butler Co., Ohio, Middletown ward 3, enumerated 15 Jan, lists on p. 19A as family #343/362, on Crescent Blvd:
Gibson, Mort, 25, laborer at tobacco co; Anna, wife, 27; Edmund, son, 3 6/12; Maxine, dau, 1 8/12. Lewis, Clarence, brother-in-law, married; Howard, nephew, 8; Harold, nephew, 4; Louie, niece, 3 1/12; <given name blank>, mother-in-law, 60, widowed. Mort and Anna’s two children born Ohio Ky Ky, all others born Ky Ky Ky.

The entry for an unnamed widowed mother-in-law is curious, since Clarence and Anna’s father Edmund Price Lewis was still living.
