Her obituary in the Middletown Journal of Thursday, 28 Sep 1989 reported:
“Mrs. Helen Jean Trimble, 69, of 1620 Lamberton St., died at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday at Middletown Regional Hospital where she had been a patient 11 days.
The native of West Liberty, Ky., had lived here 35 years and had been an employee at Alber's grocery and the former Central Store. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Her husband, Vensil, died in December.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jan Gauthier of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Betty Hauser of Allentown, Pa., and Mrs. Vicki Peters of Middletown; a son, William J. Childers of Middletown; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.”
