His obituary reported:

“Glenn "Red" Milton Stafford, 82, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born August 25, 1931 in Montgomery County to the late Glenn "Rube" and Daisy Stafford.

Red was a Montgomery County native and a 1950 graduate of Camargo High School. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He then married his sweetheart, Marjorie, whom he shared his life with for 60 years. Together they lovingly raised their four children, Dudley, Tony, Shelly, and Kevin. Red was an inspector and equipment operator for Tennessee Gas Pipeline for 34 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a founder of the Camargo Volunteer Fire Department and a member of American Legion. Everyone knew Red for his jokester personality and his love for the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and being a Black Angus cattle farmer. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
