Notes for Caroline Morgan
Caroline's gravestone says she was born 1831, but this is inconsistent with census history (which implies about 1824 to 1829), and unlikely considering that it would put her being married at age 14. Probably whoever commissioned the stone did not know her correct age.
According to her obituary, her father's name was John Morgan (her mother's name is not mentioned.) Unfortunately, there are three John Morgans in early Clermont Co., two of whom according to 1830 and 1840 census records had a daughter of the right age range, and neither of whom left any record of their children, so I am at a dead end in tracing Caroline's ancestry further.
