Marriage listed on p. 83, Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio, Vol. 3. Original record in Clark Co. Probate Court Marriages Book 2, p. 332.
The family group of Christian Ohmart and Mary Snyder is from a typewritten undated page compiled by Leslie M. Ohmart (1872-1946) of Dayton, Ohio, a son of Christian's son George Washington Ohmart. Curiously, it states "These people were the parents of 16 children, three of whom died in infancy. The remaining thirteen were as following according to age:" Then it proceeds to list TWELVE children, and concludes "Samuel and the rest of the children was born in Iowa, while all prior to him were born in Ohio." AND THERE IS NO SAMUEL IN THE LIST!! I was sent a photocopy of this page by Verle V. Ohmart of Scott City, Kansas.

Notes for Mary Snyder
Leslie Ohmart's family group sheet for this family shows Mary's date of birth as 31 Mar 1834, but she could not have married at age 7! I have entered it as 1824, but have no direct evidence for this.
