Her obituary reported VIRGINIA M. KRUEGER, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Heritage Park Nursing Home. She was born June 3, 1914 in Sidney, the daughter of Fred and Norna F Hale Grisso. She graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing and had been a Registered Nurse for Dr. Howe for 18 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Herbert W.; daughter, Kay J. Evans of Fort Wayne; son, Fredrick L. (Beth) Krueger of Snow Lake; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dr. Karl Grisso of Charleston, Ill. and Paul Grisso of Auburn. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Dickey; and brothers, Ronald and Donald Grisso, and Harry Hale Grisso, who passed away on March 14, 1996. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mark Neubacher officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
