Although his age (and the location) would fit, he is not listed as a child of George Tridle in any of the family groups that I have seen. A nephew perhaps?

Two of their young daughters are buried in Cripe Cemetery (between Laketon and North Manchester), but John and Susannah are not themselves listed anywhere in Lester Binnie’s books of Wabash County cemetery records.
In Row 5, Viola, daughter of J. F. & S. Tridle, died Sep 7, 1864, aged 3 years 6 months 14 days, and Florence, daughter of J. F. & S. Tridle, died Oct 31, 1865, aged 25 days.
