Dore Manfred Frantz's records, taken from tombstones, has the birth and death dates 20 Oct 1813-4 Mar 1854. The birth and death dates for his two wives are also from this Dore Frantz book, page 13. My first entry of Joseph, probably from the Clark County Early Families book, had him born 30 Nov 1813, died 28 Mar 1854.
Annals of the Donnels Creek District, p. 9, says that Joseph moved to Defiance Co., OH, in the late 1830's, and moved back to Clark Co. in 1847.

Betty Hendrickson (on p. 5, Early Clark County Families, Vol. V) gives Catherine's date of birth as 15 Jan 1824, while Sylvia Olson on p. 174 of the same volume gives her birthdate as 15 Oct 1824.
