Notes for Catherine Shearer
Probably the Catherine Brubaker listed in the Preble Co. Death Records, Bk 1, p. 44, who died 19 Oct 1874 in Gratis twp, age 65y 10m 16d (which would imply a birthdate of 3 Dec 1808), widowed, b. Virginia, cause of death typhoid. This does not agree with the lifespan of 1808-1864 from Lowell Beachler's family chart for John Brubaker Jr. & Phoebe Harter, but it was typed, so 1864 is an easy typo for 1874. And there is no other Catherine Brubaker of the right age in Preble Co.
