This family is listed on pages 52-53 and 117 of Volume II, Early Clark County Families, entries submitted by Thomas J. Beardsley and Lela Shoup, according to which they moved to Clark County in 1823.
The marriage of "Michael Frantz to Catherine Crist" is listed on Vol. 2, page 18, Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio.

1850 census of Clark County, Pike twp, page 131, enumerated 24 Aug, lists this family as:
Michael Frantz, 68, VA; Susannah, 48, VA; John, 25, OH; Lydia, 20, OH; Michael, 14, OH; Samuel, 13, OH; Anna, 10, OH; Jacob, 22, OH.
Jacob is possibly the husband of Lydia. He is not likely to be a son of Michael, because Michael's daughter Susannah (who had died earlier in 1850) was born in 1828, and besides, he is listed out of age order. The age for young Michael should be 15 if the birthdate on his gravestone is correct. The age for Lydia is consistent with the birthdate Thomas Beardsley lists for her of 22 Nov 1830, but not with the birthdate Dore M. Frantz lists for her of 22 May 1831.

Notes for Elizabeth Crist
Thomas Beardsley's entry on page 52 of Vol. II, ECCF, says that Elizabeth died 11 May 1823. Lela Shoup's entry on page 116 of the same volume says that she died 21 May 1823, but her description of Myer's cemetery on p. 6 of Annals of the Donnels Creek District records it as 31 May. Lowell Beachler's entry for the family of Jacob Crist Sr. on page 77 of Vol. I says that she died 31 May 1823. Perhaps an illegible first digit on a gravestone or some other document?
