According to a letter from Lowell Beachler, "grandmother Eliza Blocher Beachler 1871-1964 was born at Lagro, Wabash County, Indiana, the family moved to Jasper County, Indiana in 1887, on to Ward County, North Dakota in 1901, came here to Salida (near Modesto) in 1923, returned to North Dakota in 1930, and back to Wabash County, Indiana in 1935."
