According to Lindsay Brien's transcriptions of cemetery records, Samuel's stone says he was b. 4 Dec 1823, but her profile of his family on p. 23 of Miami Valley Genealogies, based largely on the History of the Church of the Brethren in Southern Ohio says he was b. 4 Feb 1823.
