Lindsey Brien (p.62, Vol. 4, Miami Valley Genealogies), lists this Henry Frantz as a son of Michael and Magdalena (Zug) Frantz, but the Montgomery Co. history he cites describes Henry as a son of a Christian Frantz who moved from Berks Co., Penn. to Virginia, four sons of this Christian, namely, Michael, John, Christian, and this Henry, moving to Montgomery Co. It seems to me likely that Lindsey is equating the Christian Frantz Sr. of the Montgomery Co. history with Elder Christian Frantz Sr. of Clark Co., and noting that Christian b. 1761 could not have a son b. 1773, has elevated Henry to a brother. But there were some Christian Frantz families who went from Berks Co. PA to Botetourt Co. VA and from there to Ohio who were not descended from Michael Frantz Sr. of Lancaster Co., but rather from his brothers Christian and Baltzar. It is likely that the Frantz brothers who settled in Montgomery Co. were descended from these Berks Co. Frantz brothers.

Ohio Will Book C, p. 366, dated 20 Aug 1840, recorded 2 Mar 1841, names wife Maria, children Susan Eigenberry, Christian, Mary Shock, Anna Nave, Elizabeth Myers, Sarah Whitehead, Lydia Spitler, Daniel, Hettie Stoufer. Executors son Christian, son-in-law Michael Myers, witnesses John Graybill, David Ocks.

1810 census of Botetourt Co., VA, lists on p. 623, line 8:
