Wabash Co. marriage records, Bk 7, p. 57, lists Gideon Heeter m. Mary Jane Walters, 1 Nov 1867.
Binnie's "Cemetery Records of Chester twp", lists on p. 13, in Fairview Cemetery, "Gideon Heeter 1842-19 ; Mary J. his wife, 1849-1913" The unfinished date on Gideon would seem to imply that he died after 1900, and probably after 1913. But he is not listed in the Wabash Co. death records, which start in 1887. Perhaps he died elsewhere and was returned to North Manchester to be buried with his wife.
