Notes for Elva Heeter
On their marriage license application (Bk 2, p. 173), the bride Elva Heeter lists her parents as John A. Heeter & Mattie Tuckey, and her birthdate as 3-31-1889, in Wabash Co. The groom Ora Cripe lists his parents as Henry Cripe & Anna Long, and his birthdate as 10-1-1884. The application states that the marriage will be on 24 Jan 1907. The returned license is filed separately, in Bk 15, p. 437. I did not consult it, so it is possible that the actual marriage date was later.
