Stone in the Ulrey Mem. Cem. reads: Jacob W. Heeter Sep 15, 1858-Dec 16, 1918

Her stone in the Ulrey Memorial Cemetery at the Eel River Church of the Brethren says: Ellen, wife of J. W. Heeter, died Jan 5, 1912, age 52 years 10 months 5 days. Taken literally, this would imply birth on "31 Feb 1859", an impossible date. I am treating it as meaning the last day of Feb, but if so, she should really have been called 52 years 10 months 8 days old on the 5th of January, since she would have been 52y 10m even on 28 Dec 1911, and 5 Jan is 8 days later.
