Lorraine Frantz Edwards lists Anna's date of birth as 1782, year only. Brian Wertz of Boise, ID, citing a "Condensed Wertz Genealogy", gives Anna's date of birth as 14 Apr 1779.

Brian Wertz of Boise, ID, citing a "Condensed Wertz Genealogy", gives John and Anna's marriage date as 16 Mar 1812. My database, for which I did not record the source (probably Lorraine Frantz Edwards), listed their marriage date as 26 Mar 1812. Possibly it represents a typo, or it may be the difference between a date based on a marriage bond, and one based on a minister's return or a Bible record. When such discrepancies arise, the later date is more often correct, so I will use that until I get more definitive information on the original sources.
