According to the Michael Zug record: "Michael Bachman immigrated to America in 1712 (see Rupp's History page 437) and settled at the Chiques Creek near Manheim, Lancaster County, where he owned and operated a grist mill by the time his brother-in-law came over. But later on he moved from Lancaster County to what is now known as Fontana, Lebanon County, where he has purchased or taken up 1000 acres of land."
