The LDS Ancestral file had his date of birth as 29 Jul 1823 and his death as 27 Oct 1864; Marwin Brubaker had his birthdate as 23 Jul 1823 and his date of death as 27 Feb 1865. It appears that someone misread a gravestone or other record.

Esther Kemp has Magdelene Brubaker married second to "Daniel Blocher", but since her data is focused on Brubakers, and she has nothing else on Magdalene's husband except his name, while Leona's research has focused on the Blocher's, and she has David's ancestry and vital statistics, I am going by her data. (She has David Blocher married to Magdalene Brubaker Frantz, so even though Leona has nothing else on Magdalene, it must be the same marriage because I cannot see it likely that two D. Blochers married a Magdalene Brubaker Frantz in the same generation and same county.) Later addendum: Lowell Beachler's family group sheet for the family of Henry Brubaker & Saloma Eller also shows Magdalena married to David Blocher 1812-1886, and further notes that they had 3 children.
