Her brother Clayton’s obituary, printed 23 Feb 1959 in the Springfield Daily News, listed her as Viola M. Grisso of Santa Carlos, Calif, so apparently she did not remarry to Austin J. Chennault until after that date. There is no “Santa Carlos” in California or anywhere else, since Santa is the feminine form of Saint and Carlos means Charles. Most likely the intention was San Carlos, although it could be Santa Clara.
