These linked family group sheets are generated by Reunion, from my database of over 54,200 direct and collateral paternal relatives.

They include all the known ancestors of my father's parents, Truby and Florence (Hall) Petitt, descendants of those ancestors, and allied families. Since I maintain the USGenWeb site for Rowan County, Kentucky, I have been very liberal in my interpretation of "allied families" - some of the families included here have only very remote connections to me, such as being the grandparents of spouses of my third cousins twice removed. Individuals related to me by blood have the relationship indicated after their names where they appear in charts, such as "Mahala Susan Hall, G Aunt". If neither of the heads of a family has a relationship indicated, you will usually find that at least one of their daughters-in-law or sons-in-law has a relationship label.

Most of the families are in eastern Kentucky, particularly the counties of Rowan, Morgan, Elliott, and Bath, or in southwestern Virginia, especially the counties of Floyd, Carroll, and Montgomery.
