Notes for Forrest Wilbie Grisso
Forrest was Ohio's Poet Laureate at one time (I don't know the period.) He published two collections of his poetry: "Sailing the Silver Seas", Antioch Press, 1938. "On Golden Wings", Commercial Service Co., 1952. The second book has some biographical information, including pictures of Bertie as a young girl, and Forrest and Bertie's 50th wedding anniversary.

Will in Montgomery Co., OH, Probate Court records, case #154880. Records give his date of birth as 5 Aug 1872 and date of death as 5 Sep 1961, of uremia. According to the probate records, his spouse preceded him in death, and he left 4 children:
