The LDS Ancestral File has the eldest son of Henry Shank & Catharine Rasor named Jacob Shank, and says that he married Elizabeth Noffsinger about 1810. There is no such marriage listed in the Montgomery Co. marriage records. But there is one for David Shenk m. Elizabeth Noffsing on 6 June 1811. I suspect that either these are the same person (maybe someone misread Jacob as David), or else that Henry & Catharine's son Jacob did not marry an Elizabeth Noffsinger. (The Ancestral File shows no son named David for Henry & Catharine, and the Montgomery Co. records do not show any marriage for a Jacob Shank/Shenk/Schenck before 1840.)
