His obituary reported “Paul A. Grisso, 84, formerly of Sidney, IN died at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Wesley Healthcare Park, Auburn, IN. He was born at Sidney, Indiana on January 21, 1926 to Fred A. & Morna (Hale) Grisso. On May 24, 1960 he married Mildred Irene (Huffman) Junkin.  She died June 20, 2000.

Paul served his country as staff sergeant in the elite US Army Third Division during the invasion of Germany in World War II.  He worked for many years for his father, Fred A. Grisso & Co., Sidney, IN a building construction and concrete manufacturing business.  Later he worked at Whitley Manufacturing Co. in South Whitley, IN until his retirement.  He was a member of the American Legion Post # 258, Pierceton, IN and the Warsaw Masonic Lodge # 73 F & AM.

Surviving are two step-sons, Carl Junkin, Mesa, AZ and Jack Junkin, Ft. Wayne, IN. Three step-daughters, Carol Ann Miller, Ft. Wayne, IN; Charlene Hoffman, Akron, IN and Sharon Turner, Auburn, IN. One brother, Dr. Karl Max Grisso, Charleston, IL; a brother-in-law, Herbert Krueger, Ft. Wayne, IN; three nephews, Dr. Jerry Dickey, Ft. Worth, TX; Jan Dickey, San Antonia, TX and Fred Krueger, Ft. Wayne, IN.  One niece, Kay Evans, Ft. Wayne, IN. Twenty Seven step-grandchildren and thirty five step-great grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 12:00 noon in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Friends and family may call two hours prior to services at the mortuary.  Pastor Doug Shaw will officiate.  Military rites by Piecreton American Legion Post # 258, and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, IN.”
