According to “Our Garst Family”, Emma was raised by her father's sister Mary (Frantz) Garst, and became the sole heir of her uncle David Garst. But she does not appear with David’s family in any census year; nor have I found her with any other family, so I do not know her birthdate. It is possible that she was a twin of Hollis.
