Notes for Isaac Hall
Talley's Northeastern Kentucky Papers, a book of miscellaneous collected records, includes on p. 161 a newspaper extract from the Maysville Republican, of Feb 29, 1868. The exact wording is “Murder: In Morgan Co., Ky, recently a man named Isaac Hall was called to the door and shot. He retreated, was pursued into the house, and again shot, and killed. Several men arrested. Among them were Hall's own brother, brother-in-law, and all others are related by blood or marriage.” I examined original court records in the Kentucky State Archives in Frankfort, and it turns out that it was Isaac Hall Jr. who was killed by his relatives (on 3 Jan 1868). See my article “The Isaac Hall Murder Trial” for details.

One witness refers to Isaac Jr.'s mother as "old widow Hall", so Isaac Sr. must have died by 1867.
Census Notes for Anna ("Annie") Martin
Anna is living with her son John M. in the 1870 census, widowed, her age given as 75, though that is likely wrong.
Notes for Isaac & Anna ("Annie") (Family)
Fleming Co. marriage records list marriage of Isaac Hall and Ann Martin, 8 Sep 1826, by Joseph G. Williams, witness John Martin.
