Notes for Alfred C. P. Hall
His middle initial was listed as C. in 1880 and P. in 1900. I strongly suspect that is because he had two middle names, Commodore Perry.
Notes for Alfred C. P. & Elizabeth (Family)
Morgan Co. marriage register, book 1, p. 79, on LDS microfilm #839,918 records marriage of Alfred Hall & Elizabeth Riddle, on 19 Aug 1846 by Jesse Cassity.
Census
I cannot find this family in the 1850 census.

1860 census of Fleming Co., Ky, district 2, Flemingsburg P.O., enumerated 20 July, lists on p. 46 as family #316/379:
Alfred Hall, 31; Elizabeth, 31; Nancy A., 8; John W., 4; Landers V. (or N.), 1. All born in Ky.

1870 census of Fleming Co., Ky, Hillsboro precinct, enumerated 2 Aug, lists on p. 10 as family #62/61:
Hall, Alfred, 38; Lizzie, 41; Adeline, 19; Nannie, 17; John, 15; Landers, 13; Sarah, 9. All born in Ky.

Adeline is probably Alfred’s sister, since she does not appear in the 1860 census with this family. Although if so, she should be listed as 21.

1880 census of Fleming Co., Ky, Hillsboro precinct, enumerated 22 June, lists on p. 33 as family #282/284:
Hall, Alford C., 50, farmer; Elizabeth, 50, wife; Nancy, 26, dau; Sarah, 18, dau; Amanda, 9, grandau; Lilly, 5, grandau; Josie, 3, grandau; Lullie, 1, grandau. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The four granddaughters are children of Nancy.

(Also on this page is the family of George A. Riddle and Mary Johnson.)

1900 census of Fleming Co., Ky, district 5, enumerated 12 June, lists on p. 6B as family #116/117:
Hall, Alfred P., 69, b. June 1830; Elizabeth, wife, 70, b. Sep 1829; Russell C., grandson, 19, b. Oct 1880. All born Ky Ky Ky.

Since Alfred is very likely to be the son listed in the 1830 census for the Jacob Hall family as under 5, and in the 1840 census as age 10 to 14, he was probably born in 1829 instead of 1830, that is, the 1860 census probably has the most accurate age.
