(Apparently Carl mistakenly thought that “Lissie”, as her mother was called, was a nickname for Alice instead of Malissa.)

The same dates are on her gravestone, which has her name as Gipsy Christian. Her sister Lennie’s death record and gravestone, though, gives her birthdate as 30 Jan 1890, so at least one of them must be wrong.
