His death certificate records Willie Henry Brown, age 55 years 7 months 28 days, born 14 June 1896 in Rowan Co., Ky, died 12 Jan 1952 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Fayette Co., Ky, married, occupation clay miner, father Thomas C. Brown, mother’s maiden name Palena Frann, cause of death fractured ribs with contusion of lungs, complicated by pneumonia and shock, due to accident in factory at Clearfield, Rowan Co., Ky, fell off incined R.R., informant Palena Brown, burial in Clearfield Cemetery.

By “inclined R.R.” in a “factory” is most likely meant a track in the clay mine.
